1. Business Unit Energy is responsible for ensuring cost-effective and high-availability energy supply to all Lenzing Group production sites.
2. The energy plant in Lenzing annually produces about 3.000 GWh of heat (in the form of steam) and 550 GWh in the form of electricity. This corresponds to the energy consumption of about 130,000 households.
3. The EMZ Energy and Media Center in Heiligenkreuz annually produces 180 GWh of heat and 40 GWh of electricity.
